Covet Banner

Entangled’s Covet line is having a massive $0.99 sale across their titles! Today we have three of their great authors to share how they put the Normal in Para!

Meet Kristin Miller

Author of Beauty and the Werewolf

I love writing about fiery, independent heroines, and swoon-worthy heroes. I enjoy fun tropes with exciting twists:

enemies-to-lovers, arranged marriages, friends-to-lovers, and mistaken identity. Whether I’m writing small town contemporaries, or snarky and sexy paranormal romances, that’s “normal” for me. But I also have a soft spot for werewolves. When I started writing the Seattle and San Francisco Wolf Pack books, I knew I wanted to write real people with real problems, adding in a paranormal element. Werewolf-next-door type books. Wouldn’t it be thrilling if your boss—the hot guy you’ve been drooling over since you became an intern—shifted into a large, brooding Alpha male who howled at the moon? And wouldn’t it be even better if he were your fated mate—the one destined to love you and protect you for the rest of your life? I’m swooning already. That’s how I put the para in my normal.

Kristin MillerNew York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kristin Miller writes sweet and sassy contemporary romance, romantic suspense, and paranormal romance of all varieties. Kristin has degrees in psychology, English, and education, and taught high school and middle school English before crossing over to a career in writing. She lives in Northern California with her alpha male husband and their two children. You can usually find her in the corner of a coffee shop, laptop in front of her and mocha in hand, using the guests around her as fuel for her next book.

Meet Susannah Scott

Author of Dragon Her Back

How I put the para in normal?

I put the para in “normal” with sexy dragon-shifters!

I love dragons. I love that they can fly, and I love that they are over-the-top powerful! The added human-2-dragon shifter element is wonderful because the beast is in constant conflict with the rational human. I loved getting to know my shape-shifting dragons by seeing how they deal with their competing impulses.

But, mostly it is the flying, and fire, and power!

Meet Missy Jane

Author of Desiring a Demon

Paranormal Romance is my favorite genre to read and write. It’s like having the horror that I love with a dash of

romance, hot heroes and sexy heroines who are so much more than human. I like to make my characters the para center-stage and keep the world around them as normal as possible. Creating a character who has to struggle with humanity on top of their otherness is what makes my imagination run wild. Sometimes it’s their humanity that seems so paranormal.

Missy JaneMissy Jane is the alter ego of a married mother of four who was born and raised in Texas. She spends most of her time lost in worlds of her own making, alternately loving and hating such creatures as vampires, shape-shifters, sexy Archangels, and gargoyles (to name a few). When not writing, she spends her time reading, taking photos of her beautiful daughters and training her husband to believe she’s always right. Excerpts from Missy’s paranormal and erotic tales can be found at her Blogspot and AuthorMissyJane.com.
