Yesterday I came upon a very fun site, Firebox. Very much like ThinkGeek they’ve got some awesome items. Here are a few that caught my eye and might be perfect for last minute gift shopping:
- Hatching Dinosaur Egg – As pictured above you can hatch your own raptor out of a candle!
- Unicorn Tears Gin Liqueur – Have you ever wanted to know what unicorn tears taste like? Well now you can! While the price might be a bit prohibitive, the description of the flavors has definitely piqued my interest!
- Fucking Strong Coffee – Perfect for writers! It’s Fucking Strong Coffee, need I say more? =D
- Toast Heated Pillow – Finally the most adorable thing I could find! A smiling piece of toast heated pillow! All the yes!

Many people have books they love to go back to again and again whether it’s to re-experience the power of the story, seek comfort in familiarity, or even need a palate cleanse after a string of less than satisfactory reads. My usual go to re-reads are the Harry Potter series and the Twilight series. There are others that I enjoy rereading but those two series are my go to for comfort and nostalgia.
