What are your five favorite movies with romance or romantic elements?
Oh, gosh, I love so many romantic movies!! I guess, if I have to pick… Notting Hill, Nine Months, Friends with Benefits, The Holiday, and Silver Linings Playbook.
Describe your favorite scene from each one (you can include a Youtube clip if you want as well).
Notting Hill: I’m just a girl, standing in front of a guy…
Nine Months: Definitely this one:
Friends with Benefits: For some reason, I love this!
The Holiday: This moment is one of my favorites:
Silver Linings Playbook:
Did you have any of these scenes in mind when writing scenes from your latest release?
I always keep general emotions one might feel in mind when watching these scenes, yes, but I always try to make people feel ALL THE FEELS, and these are perfect representations of all the feels one might feel when reading an awesome book.
FIVE BOOKS
If you could only read five books for the rest of your life, what five books would they be, and why?
- Highland Velvet by Jude Deveraux. It was my first romance book EVER.
- Velvet Promise by Jude Deveraux. Because Gavin.
- Obsidian by Jennifer Armentrout. Because Daemon.
- Love Only Once by Johanna Lindsay. Love all the Malory’s.
- Asa by Jay Crownover. Because Asa.
BOOK BOYFRIENDS
Who are your book boyfriends? (list a maximum of five) What do you like about them? What characteristics do they share with the hero from your latest release?
- Rule from Rule. I love him, and I love Jay Crownover, so put them together, and I’m a happy girl. He’s as stubborn as Mark, from His Best Mistake.
- Jeremy from the Malory books (Johanna Lindsay). Hells Bell’s, he’s amazing. He’s got an amazing sense of honor and humor, like Mark.
- Finn from my own series as Jen McLaughlin, Out of Line. Because he’s prior military, and loyal to a fault. I love him.
Everyone has a favorite couple (an “OTP” in ‘shipping terms) in romance, whether in a romance book, movie, or television series. Who is your favorite couple, and why?
I love Kenzie and Deeks from NCIS: LA. There’s just something about them. Maybe it was the slow build, the denial they both had, or how they balance each other perfectly. But, man, I ship them so hard. A close second is Felicity and Oliver from Arrow.
FIRST ROMANCE (AKA My First Time):
What was the first romance novel you read?
Highland Velvet by Jude Deveraux.
What do you remember about it?
The passion. The love. The pain.
What did you like most about it?
All of the above.
What did you like least about it?
Gavin was a bit of an ass at parts, I guess, but it worked with the book, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Have you ever reread it? If you did, how do you feel about it now?
I have, but not in a long time. I might need to dig it out again, see if I still love him as much.
SNAPPY CHAT
Darcy or Wentworth?
Darcy. And Colin Firth.
Christian or Gideon?
I’ve never read either one. Crazy, I know!
Rochester or Heathcliff?
Heathcliff.
Spock or Kirk?
Spock.
Sunrise or sunset?
Sunset. I’m usually asleep at sunrise, lol.
Angst or humor?
Depends on my mood!!
Tea or coffee?
Coffee. Always coffee.
Wine or beer?
Moscato, or Magner’s Cider.
Cake or pie?
Apple pie, baby.
Scruff, beard, or clean-shaven?
Scruff. Always scruff.

A little of both, please.
Jeans or a suit?
Love them both!
