Swoon-Worthy Heroes

Swoon-Worthy Heroes Fourth of July Edition: Captain Steven Hiller from Independence Day

So, as much as I love rom coms, I adore a fun action movie (especially if it is chalk full of humor) which is why Independence Day remains one of my all-time favorite alien invasion flicks. But that ain’t the only reason. I’m talking about Will Smith at the top of his game, all swagger and hilarity, delivering the one liners… swaggerdamn

If you haven’t seen this classic 1996 movie with Bull Pullman (who is also insanely hot), it is definitely one to sit down this month and enjoy, especially if you have plans to see the sequel. bastards The ensemble cast is pretty great, and Jeff Goldblum as the man who realizes what is going on before anyone else is fabulous. look bad When the aliens make a full scale attack on the important landmarks and most powerful places, they weren’t banking on how crazy Americans really are (at least in this movie.)explosiondon't mess with will  Randy Quaid, as the drunk pilot that believes he was abducted by aliens before is just one more highlight. im back

But Captain Steven Hiller is the real pull in this film, making us laugh, sigh, and swoon with his adventures and especially with the way he treats his girlfriend, Jasmine and her son, Dylan. Despite what his friends say about him marrying a stripper, Steve loves Jasmine and Dylan, and has complete and total respect for her. beautiful

Not enough to make you swoon? I’ll tell you all the times Steve made me twitterpated. bambi

  • Just because I don’t beat around the bush, this is reason number one… shirtlesscry (2)
  • Then of course, instead of screaming like a little wimp the first time he gets up close and personal with an alien, he does this… punch (2)kick
  • Again, he is hilarious! another plane (1)the manclose encounter (1)
  • He doesn’t give up, even when the odds are stacked against him! fat lady

Although you can’t stream it, you can rent Independence Day on Netflix and see Independence Day: Resurgence in theaters now! And don’t listen to Vivica…she’s crazy…
