Deal Alert: Shiloh Walker, Vonnie Davis, and Sara Jane Stone

Our second Deal Alert today offers some great books by Shiloh Walker, Vonnie Davis, and Sara Jane Stone! Get these books at these steals before it’s too late!

Wicked Wild Fantasies by Shiloh Walker

Always the wallflower, Alison Ryan is used to being ignored and pushed around. Everybody takes her for granted, even the strung-out would-be mugger who tried to steal her purse late one night. She can’t say who was more surprised when she stood up to him…the mugger, herself…or Detective Alex O’Malley, her brother’s best friend and the man she’s loved for most of her life.

When a little bit of comforting goes sideways, Ali ends up living out one of her most hidden fantasies, having Alex’s mouth on hers, his hands sliding all over her body.

The last thing Alex O’Malley expected was to wake up and find himself wrapped around his best friend’s baby sister. He’d just been trying to be a friend and he wakes up in wonderland. Before he could get his head wrapped around what’s going on, though, his mouth gets him in trouble and Alison takes off. Plagued by guilt and a need that just won’t quit, he keeps away from her.

When life has them crashing back together, Alex can hardly believe his eyes. The shy mouse who used to pretend she wasn’t staring at him is gone and in her place is a strong, sexy confident woman who isn’t afraid to take her life—and her needs—into her own hands.

Determined to convince her to give him a chance, Alex sets out to make her understand that he is the one man who can make all her wicked, wild fantasies come true.

Santa Wore Leathers by Vonnie Davis

A perfect holiday treat for fans of Lori Wilde, Jennifer Ryan and Susan Anderson!

Take one man-shy reporter, a gorgeous ex-Navy SEAL turned firefighter, add in a thong-stealing dog… and Christmas will never be the same again!

There’s only one thing on Becca Sinclair’s Christmas list this holiday season – her very own column in the local paper. And if she can build a huge blog following, her wish just might come true.

Enter Dan ‘Wolf’ Wolford aka the man-whore next door and the new star of Becca’s popular, post-divorce blog about men. A Navy SEAL turned commander of the Florida Marine Rescue Unit, Wolf’s the very definition of the word alpha – and with an endless rotation of women on his doorstep, this hunk on a Harley has Becca and her female followers all hot and bothered!

All Becca wants for Christmas is her newspaper column, right? But when she finds herself the target of Wolf’s irresistible attentions, her snarky comebacks become less and less convincing and, suddenly, she’s not so sure anymore…

Full Exposure by Sara Jane Stone

After serving her country, Georgia Trulane craves adventure—and sex. She’s set her sights on her brother’s best friend—now her boss, since she took a temporary job as his nephew’s live-in nanny. Only problem? Eric refuses to touch her. That doesn’t stop Georgia from seducing him. But an earth-shattering encounter leaves her fully exposed, body and soul.

Eric has a long list of reasons to steer clear of the woman he has wanted for as long as he can remember. For one, he refuses to be her next thrill ride. When he claims her, it will be for good. But the attraction is undeniable, and the more they fight it, the stronger it pulls. But will it be enough to conquer their obstacles?

Guest Post: “You’ve Finished Reading the Out of Uniform Series….Now What?” by Katee Robert

His to Take Katee Robert

Good job! You did it! It’s been several years and five books, but our time in Wellingford is at an end. If you’re feeling anything like I am, it’s bittersweet to leave behind the characters we’ve met along the way. Fear not! I have the perfect thing for your book hangover! Hair of the dog.

That’s right. You craving some hot men in uniform and romances in a small town? I’ve got you covered. Without further ado, and in no particular order:

  • Tessa Bailey’s Line of Duty series (start with Protecting What’s His). This series has it all—hot cops, hot sex, just plain hotness. No one writes dirty talking quite as amazingly as Bailey, so be sure to pack a fan and get ready to have your socks blown off. My personal favorite is Asking for Trouble, mostly because Brent is my main man. Shhh. Don’t judge me. Just wait until you read it. He’ll be your main man, too.
  • Suzanne Brockmann’s Troubleshooters series (start with The Unsung Hero). This particular series is a little more suspense than romance, but Brockmann is a master of weaving secondary characters’ stories throughout the main series until she gives them their happily ever afters. You’ll CARE about the team and since there are something like 16 books out, you’ll have plenty to read and immerse yourself in their world. I’m actually itching for a reread of these books. Someday. Over the rainbow. When I have a free week or two.
  • Jessica Lemmon’s Second Chance series (start with Bringing Home the Bad Boy). Love small towns and bad boys? Lemmon has you covered—in spades. She knows how to hit you right in the feels and amp up the sexy at the same time, for some of the most satisfying reads I’ve picked up in the last year.

I could keep going, but between these three series, you’ll be covered for a bit! We’ve got hot, we’ve got men in uniform, and we’ve got romance in a small town. All the good stuff!

Erin Robinson is having an epically bad year. Her blossoming career on Broadway tanked, forcing her to crawl back to home to Wellington. The icing on her failure cake? Her former on-again, off-again fling is in town, and the sexy Marine is taking up way too much space.

Warren Davis always knew Erin was special, which is exactly why he can’t have her. A girl like her deserves something permanent—something neither of them wants. But now that they’re both back in town and she’s right there in front of him, a challenge in her eyes he’s never been able to resist, he’s questioning everything.

That challenge quickly escalates into an epic game of Truth or Dare. Erin’s sure she’s got him on lock, but as the night progresses, Warren’s dares intensify, drowning her in lust. But with the past still breathing down their necks, there’s no way either of them can win…

Katee RobertKatee Robert learned to tell stories at her grandpa’s knee. Her favorites then were the rather epic adventures of The Three Bears, but at age twelve she discovered romance novels and never looked back. Though she dabbled in writing, life got in the way—as it often does—and she spent a few years traveling, living in both Philadelphia and Germany. In between traveling and raising her two wee ones, she had the crazy idea that she’d like to write a book and try to get published. Her first novel was an epic fantasy that, God willing, will never see the light of day. From there, she dabbled in YA and horror, before finally finding speculative romance. Because, really, who wouldn’t want to write entire books about the smoking-hot relationships between two people? She now spends her time—when not lost in Far Reach worlds—playing imaginary games with her wee ones, writing, ogling men, and planning for the inevitable zombie apocalypse. Visit her on her website, Facebook, or Twitter!

Deal Alert: A Double Deal Special For Julie Ann Walker and Shelly Laurenston!

The second Deal Alert today is double deal with titles by Julie Ann Walker and Shelley Laurenston! Get these deals before they’re gone!

Too Hard to Handle by Julie Ann Walker

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Julie Ann Walker continues her red-hot Black Knights Inc. series in rough-and-tumble Peru

“The Man” is back
Dan “The Man” Currington is back in fighting form with a mission that takes him four thousand miles south of BKI headquarters, high in the Andes Mountains of Peru. He’s hot on the trail of a rogue CIA agent selling classified government secrets to the highest bidder, when Penni DePaul arrives on the scene. Suddenly the stakes are higher, and keeping Penni safe becomes Dan’s number one priority.

And this time she’s ready
A lot has changed since former Secret Service Agent Penni DePaul last saw Dan. Now a civilian, she’s excited about what the future might hold. But before she can grab onto that future with both hands, she has to tie up some loose ends-namely, Dan Currington, the man she just can’t forget. And a secret that’s going to change both their lives-if they can stay alive, that is.

The Mane Event by Shelly Laurenston

Mace Llewellyn. Brendon Shaw. Two tall, gorgeous, sexy alpha heroes who are 100% male—with a little something extra. Lion-shifters, to be exact, who can unleash every woman’s animal side and still look good—make that spectacular—in a suit. . .and even better out of it. . .

NYPD cop Desiree “Dez” MacDermot knows she’s changed a lot since she palled around with her childhood buddy, Mace. But it’s fair to say that Mace has changed even more. It isn’t just those too-sexy gold eyes, or the six-four, built-like-a-Navy Seal body. It’s something in the way he sniffs her neck and purrs, making her entire body tingle. . . Meanwhile, for Tennessean Ronnie Lee Reed, New York City is the place where any girl—even one who runs with a Pack—can redefine herself. First order of business: find a mate, settle down, and stop using men for sex. Even big, gorgeous, lion shifter men like Brendon Shaw. But she needn’t worry, because now that Brendon’s set his sights on her, the predator in him is ready to pounce and never let go…

Guest Post: “Top 5 Things Readers Should Know About DELTA FORCE” by M.L. Buchman

Target Engaged M.L. Buchman

Whenever I research a new real-life group, I am always amazed at what I uncover about them.  The Night Stalkers don’t just fly the most dangerous helicopter missions in all of US Special Operations (which means the most dangerous anywhere), they do it in helicopters that they have heavily redesigned using techniques no one else can match.

The wildland heli-aviation firefighters from my Firehawks series fly in conditions that are like no others, where the very air is trying to kill them, never mind the flames. And these real-life crews have a deeper love of nature than most of us can imagine.

Delta Force too, I discovered, has its own stamp.

1. Delta are the outcasts. It’s not that no one else wants them, its that they don’t fit into nice neat boxes. A Delta operator is a rugged individualist who has been trained on how to work in teams. This is a core difference from how almost everyone else works. The famous SEAL Team 6 members are trained in teams who can break down into smaller component groups for smaller tasks. You can send one Delta, but you’d probably always send at least two SEALs. Just part of how they think.

Guest Post: “Brotherhood” by Cathryn Fox

His Best Friend's Girl Cathryn Fox

Firefighters, police officers, military men…oh my!

What is it about a brotherhood that fascinates me? Everything from the camaraderie, to the way these strong alpha men protect each other unconditionally captivates…and excites the heck out of me. I’m not sure where this intrigue comes from. Perhaps it’s because I grew up in a family of females, and male interaction is something that was foreign to me. Or perhaps it’s just that I really like men.  *grin*  Whatever the reason, all I know is I love to listen to guys speak and rib and rough house each other. I especially enjoy watching the way they interact over sports, beer, pool—guy stuff. Some would say that most male interactions are pretty darn boring. I beg to differ.

Hidden Flames Kennedy Layne

Today book two in Kennedy Layne’s Surviving Ashes series, Hidden Flames, is out. Kennedy has shared with us an exclusive excerpt from the book! Be sure to pick up your copy today!

There were a few things that got Owen Quade through his multiple combat tours. One was the dream of riding a custom motorcycle on a winding mountain road. The former Marine had finally managed to complete that goal, and along the way he’d gained his own bike shop and the mechanic to go with it. She was a rare beauty, and he wasn’t talking about his bike either.

Prue Whitaker preferred working on engines over rubbing shoulders with people, and that included her boss. She’d learned the hard way that men weren’t as reliable as the hogs she could repair and she kept her distance from those who didn’t feel the same way. She’d been successful until she’d recently shared a scorching kiss with Owen.

Bad Romance Jen McLaughlin

Today we have an exclusive excerpt from Jen McLaughlin’s new release, Bad Romance! She’s sharing with us a scene with sexual tension thick enough to cut with a knife. Read on and be sure to pick up your copy today!

Bad Romance

Seven years in the army will change a guy. But after a shoulder wound ends his career as a sniper, Jackson Worthington finds himself back home, fighting a battle that’s all too familiar: keeping his hands off Lily Hastings. She’s still her rich daddy’s little angel, innocent, impossibly lovely, as squeaky-clean as Jackson is dirty. And she’s still his stepsister—forbidden but not forgotten, not after the soul-melting kiss that got him kicked out of the house at eighteen. He couldn’t resist her then. How the hell can he resist her now?

Lily is about to marry a man she doesn’t love, and commit to a high-stress job she hates, all to please the father who controls every waking moment of her life. On top of everything, her teenage crush is back, with a sleek, chiseled body and a trace of the rebellious boy whose lips sealed her fate. Jackson’s timing couldn’t be worse . . . or better. Because Lily’s all grown up, too. She’s aching for another taste. And for the first time, she’s ready to be a bad girl.

Even though the conversation had been innocent and generic, I couldn’t help but think there was a tension to it. A sexual tension we wouldn’t be able to avoid for much longer. But that was just my imagination. He had told me he didn’t want me anymore.
