The Taming of Malcolm Grant Paula Quinn

Bestselling author Paula Quinn, stops by to answer our questions for the release day of her book, The Taming of Malcolm Grant, the fourth book in her Highland Heirs series! Have you picked up your Highland Hunk today?

If you could only read five books for the rest of your life, what five books would they be, and why?

The Summer Tree by Guy Gavriel Kay. Kay’s books are very in depth. I’ve read this one three times and love it more each time.

The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley because I love her version of King Arthur.

Laird of the Mist by me because I love Callum MacGregor!

The Plague Dogs by Richard Adams. It’s timeless. Animal testing at its worst but a story of hope as told by two dogs.

Anything by Julie Garwood.

What was the first romance novel you read?

Gosh, I don’t remember the title but it was something by Rosemary Rogers!

What do you remember about it?

The cover. Gah! Also, the hero was too stubborn and domineering and I swore I’d never write a guy like him.

What did you like most about it?

The romance of course! Feisty heroine tames hard a**. Love it. Always will.

What did you like least about it?

The hero was too stubborn for too long.

Have you ever reread it? If you did, how do you feel about it now?

Never reread it.

Darcy or Wentworth?

(bonus: who’s your favorite Darcy or Wentworth on screen?)

Darcy. Matthew MacFadyen. That voice. Those eyes.

Rochester or Heathcliff?

Oh, Heathcliff! Heathcliff on the moors!!

Spock or Kirk?

Kirk. But I really love Picard. Have you heard him quote Moby Dick? Swoon.

Wine or beer?

Neither. I prefer a cocktail

Jeans or a suit?

Car or motorcycle?

Car…or horse!

An Alluring Lass

Emmaline Grey spends her days with her beloved dog, dreaming of the sea-until a brawling Highlander shatters her quiet life to pieces. Though her blindness prevents her from seeing his face, his voice is a warm blend of velvet and silk, and his rakehell ways unmistakable. Risking the wrath of a rival clan as she nurses him back to health, Emma soon realizes the real danger is the magnetic pull she feels to this half-naked Scot recovering in her bed.

A Reckless Rogue

With his rugged handsomeness and wicked charm, Malcolm Grant wants nothing more out of life than whisky, women, and the occasional war. The only lass he’s ever trusted left him with more scars than a battlefield. Yet now at the mercy of this sweet stranger, Malcolm can barely resist the gentle hands that make him feverish with desire-until Emma, the one he will never have, is the only woman he wants.
