Guest Post: Jacob Z. Flores Shares Character Art for BLOOD TIED

Today we have author Jacob Z. Flores showing an exclusive reveal of his character art for the characters in the second book of his Warlock Brothers of Havenbridge series, Blood Tied, which releases on September 7th!

Hi, everyone! My name is Jacob Z. Flores, and I’m thrilled to be here at EverAfter Romance, a brand new blog to our community. I want to thank the team at EA for agreeing to host me today as part of my Blood Tied pre-release promotional tour.

Blood Tied is the second book in my paranormal/fantasy m/m romance series called the Warlock Brothers of Havenbridge. The series follows the lives of the Blackmoor brothers, Mason, Thad, and Pierce. For the second book, the middle brother Thad takes over as the main character. With Thad’s book, we venture further into the evil that was introduced in Spell Bound and the gathering conspiracy that continues to grow, but don’t worry. Besides danger, magical battles, and thrilling adventures, there is also romance added to the mix in the form of the man who steals Thad’s heart. If you know Thad, it is no easy task.

As if that wasn’t enough, in book one, I introduced my versions of warlocks, witches, wizards, and vampyren. For Blood Tied, readers will get to experience my take on the fae.

For those of you who don’t know, I have a website completely dedicated to the world of the Warlock Brothers of Havenbridge. You can find a magical history of the world, a timeline of events, quizzes, a ton of supplemental information for new and established readers as well as character art for some of my major characters.

When the first book of the series was released, the ever-wonderful and always fabulous Charlie Cochet created character art based off my conceptions of the Blackmoor brothers–Mason, Thad, and Pierce–along with Mason’s boyfriend Drake Carpenter.

Well, today, I’m pleased to announce that Charlie has done it again. She has created more character art profiles for Oliver Blackmoor, Mason, Thad, and Pierce’s father as well as for new characters Aiden Teine and Ben Crane.

The new character art hasn’t been seen anywhere else, and I’m pleased to have it debut here at EverAfter Romance.

Aren’t they gorgeous? Charlie does wonderful work, and I’m grateful to her for taking on this project.

If you’re interested, you can find other character art and a whole bunch more information over at the Havenbridge website by clicking here or heading over to www.havenbridge.me.

I’ll see you all over there!

About the Book:

Thad Blackmoor’s heart is as cold as his icy magical abilities. He considers emotions a waste of his time and prefers to study the arcane, using the sacred books of his coven to grow in his craft. He aspires to supersede his father and elder brother Pierce in power, and now that his younger brother Mason has tapped into the rare warlock power of darkness, he needs to work harder than ever.

But Thad’s ambitions are halted when he saves Aiden Teine, a fire fairy, from a banshee. Thad’s immediate attraction to Aiden catches him off guard and thaws his cold heart for the first time. As Thad, Aiden, and his brothers investigate the connection between the banshee attack and the vampyre and shadow weaver who almost killed them, Thad tries to dodge Ben, a sexy warlock who won’t let him be after a one-night stand.

Their search leads them to the Otherworld, where something even more insidious is at work—something Thad will need more than logic to stand against.

About the Author:

Jacob Z. Flores

Jacob Z. Flores lives a double life. During the day, he is a respected college English professor and mid-level administrator. At night and during his summer vacation, he loosens the tie and tosses aside the trendy sports coat to write man on man fiction, where the hard ass assessor of freshmen level composition turns his attention to the firm posteriors and other rigid appendages of the characters in his fictional world.

Summers in Provincetown, Massachusetts, provide Jacob with inspiration for his fiction. The abundance of barely clothed man flesh and daily debauchery stimulates his personal muse.

When he isn’t stroking the keyboard, Jacob spends time with his daughter. They both represent a bright blue blip in an otherwise predominantly red swath in south Texas.
