Meet the Team

Shannon Criss is the Senior Acquisitions Editor at EverAfter Romance. She’s a diehard romantic, who’s been entrenched in the genre since childhood, burying herself in fairytales of near and far lands. Nowadays, her romantic tastes skew a bit more mature… She likes her heroines sassy, and her heroes brave enough to conquer their hearts. She’s hoping to discover this same element in the content she seeks to acquire today.

Prior to joining EverAfter, she was an editor at Harlequin for seven years, where she worked with numerous award-winning authors. Find her on Twitter @ShannonCriss.

Lydia Youngman is the Acquisitions Editor-at-Large at EverAfter. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University with degrees in Writing Seminars and Spanish as well as a minor in Film & Media Studies.

Laura Kemp is the Publishing Assistant at EverAfter. She has held an odd assortment of jobs in her past, having worked in a library, a museum, a costume shop, a bookstore, and even a cat café. She went to school at the University of Michigan graduating with a degree in Anthropology and a fascination with storytelling. She believes the best stories always include a great love story. Find her on Twitter @laurakisreading.

Michelle Forde is the Marketing and Publicity Coordinator at EverAfter. She’s been reading romance since she was far too young to do so. She juggles marketing, publicity, and social media, while somehow still finding the time to devour whatever books she can get her hands on. Prior to joining EverAfter, Michelle managed the Lyrical Press line at Kensington Publishing and spent time working directly with authors at Barclay Publicity. You can find her on Twitter @shelloquent.
